Kwara United Football Club is an Ilorin based soccer team in the Nigerian premier league and has played and won many outstanding matches in the local and national levels.
It was founded in the year 1997 and was primarily established to bring together football as well as create employment opportunity for youth and professionals while harnessing their football skills and potentials.
The club is open to footballers who aspire to be trained by professional coaches and trainers creating a platform for support, skill development and growth in the field as well as providing them with an opportunity to play in local and international leagues.
The Football club is also the founder of the Kwara State Football Academy, the football club together with the founding club is the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin.
